Release Date: April 4, 2014

Starring: Chris Evans, Scarlet Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson

MPAA Rating PG-13

Plot: Now an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America (Chris Evans) begins to grow a small distrust of the organization when Director Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) shows him all the actions S.H.I.E.L.D. is taking to prevent another attack like in The Avengers. Meanwhile, an old friend in Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) returns as a new enemy as the ruthless Soviet assassin the Winter Soldier.

Reason: It’s a new Marvel movie. Captain America looks to be amazing. A sequel to 2011’s lackluster Captain America: The First Avenger, and his first appearance since The Avengers, the anticipation for Cap to return to the screen has never been higher. Since about when the movie was announced, it was projected to be the most highly anticipated Marvel Phase Two movie, even more so than Iron Man 3. What makes Captain America: The Winter Soldier look so great is the visuals, the trailers, and the cast hype. There have been numerous posters everywhere, multiple cast interviews on talk shows, four theatrical trailers released, and the cast of the TV show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has really been promoting the film recently, as they hint at some sort of tie-in.
